Custom Best Bets using remote content div

Hi,

For the life of me I was sure you can display remote content into Best Bets area or am I wrong?
I was pretty sure I was able to create a banner like div content that would sit nicely within the Bests Bets area but I cannot remember how I did it.

Hi Nicky,

When you use Best Bets or Curator, you are free to reference external resources using html in the message.

Yes, I'm well aware of that one but I was sure you could reference a standard page inside Matrix?

Lets say you have a folder inside Matrix "My Custom Best Bets" that has a blank design but each custom best bets is designed with its own CSS styles which you reference from Funnelback?

Here's an example I did some months back but I cannot remember the procedure.

It's not an image but a background image with html. Can you write javascript inside message?

I'm not aware of any standard way of achieving this though you can place HTML code within the best bets region as indicated by Gioan (and there is no reason why that couldn't contain Javascript).

If your search results page is nested within Matrix via a REST asset you could include a matrix snippet within your best bet response that Matrix automatically expands.
