These features form part of the set of functionality that are enabled by converting a profile to a frontend service.
You'll need to do this when you want to edit frontend functionality for a search results page.
To enable, in the admin interface make sure you have the correct collection and profile selected then click the create service button. (You can verify the correct collection and profile setting by running a search on your site and checking the parameters passed to the search). Those disabled front-end features should be available as soon as you've clicked the create service button so long as your administration user has the necessary permissions to edit that functionality.
