Defaults of Padre Cooler Options

The Padre Cooler ranking options allow customisation of the ranking algorithm, and may be overridden (in collection config or CGI parameters).

It’s mentioned on another page that:

Out-of-the-box, more than a dozen of these have non-zero values.

But it doesn’t reveal what the defaults are, so it’s not clear where to start when overriding certain parameters. For example I want to increase cool.12, but don’t know what the current value is to adjust.

How can I find out the default values?

No answer; I guess I’d need to try setting up a specific example and conduct tests with different values.

These are not documented and I doubt the development team would want to expose this information as the default weightings in the ranking algorithm are probably things that we wouldn’t want to publish.
