Is it possible to set up another Accessibility report or filter the report to exclude data from a particular IP?
Hi Elizabeth,
Would you happen to know the equivalent sites or urls?
If you do, you can specified what to include and exclude as Accessibility Auditor is configured like any other standard web collection.
This will allow you to determine the content that should be showing up.
Hope this helps.
~Gioan
Hi Gioan,
Thanks for that.
Yes we have set up the appropriate Start and Exclude URLs. What we are looking for, and sorry if I wasn’t clear, was excluding results in the Auditor from visitors using the search from a particular IP address. For example, excluding all results from the Squiz office.
Please let me know if you need any further detail.
Thanks,
Liz
It sounds like you’re referring to the Search Analytics reports, rather than the Content Auditor or Accessibility Auditor.
If so, the configuration option that will assist is described at:
List of query terms and IP address that are to be ignored by the reporting system. If a global ~/conf/reporting-blacklist.cfg exists its content are read and merged with the collection specific one when reports are updated. It’s also possible to have only a global one, or only per-collection specific ones.
Neither the Content Auditor or Accessibility Auditor track users from a particular IP address.
Hi Gordon,
Apologies, yes I did make a mistake it is the Search Analytics report we need to update.
I’ll give the blacklist cfg a go.
Thanks,
Liz
